I can really see as I come from a graphic design background myself how he uses repeating patterns to create this visually appealing overload of media. Mike has over 200 short to medium length loops which are absolutely eye catching and give off a unique vibe whenever you watch, some with a notable 80s vibe such as one of the examples above and others with more of a 'cute' approach such as the vimeo staff pick i've chosen at the top. I've been a follower of Mike's work for over 2 years now and I can certainly see how more complex his loops are becoming and that isn't a bad thing, honestly its coming to the point where i cannot even comprend how he could of even started to produce them.
